NITRO 7 COFFEE AND TEA BAR AT ROBINSON'S GALLERIA
In most days, coffee really is the only thing that can get me up and feeling like I can accomplish my agendas for a day. It gives me the boost I need to stay focused and energized. It’s my stimulant that perks me up and keeps me fueled for the rest of the day.
You could actually tell from its name, Nitro 7 Coffee & Tea Bar, that it is not your usual place to get your caffeine fix. It is the first nitrogen-infused coffee and tea bar in Manila and the Philippines. It was able to find a way to prepare coffee and tea healthier by having its drinks sweeter and creamier without adding sugar or milk.
Brief History of how Nitro 7 started: Both Nitro's owner and partners are bible-study group mates. They’re all businessmen and coffee aficionados. They wanted to make something that would be pleasing to God, and a brand that could personally patronize because they loved the product so much! At the start, they considered putting up a regular coffee shop, but there were so many of those in the market already. So after broad research and product testing, they came across Nitro coffee, which is huge in the US. Founders of Nitro 7 also prefers nitro coffee as it offers up a healthier caffeine boost. According to Healthline, Cold-brewed nitro coffee is less acidic and higher in caffeine, it tastes sweeter and has a thicker and smoother texture than regular coffee. It is also good for weight loss and extended longevity.
I got the chance to get to know more of this locally owned coffee & tea bar upon an invite from one of their branches which is located at Ground Level of Robinson's Galleria. The owner is recommending nitrogen-infused coffee because unlike other types of coffee, which can sometimes skew bitter, nitro doesn’t require sugar to taste remarkably. Another advantage to nitro: Cold brew in general is less acidic than hot coffee because the beans are steeped for longer hours, whereas the drip selection is ground up and served more swiftly. The outcome is a more rich, less sour taste, and one that’s good on the gut.
